Nashville 5-Day Itinerary: Music, Food, History & Local Culture

Nashville 5-Day Itinerary: Music, Food, History & Local Culture

Five nights is the right amount of time to actually know Nashville. Available Year Round | Starting from $3,950 per Guest

Five nights is the right amount of time to actually know Nashville. This itinerary covers all the major chapters — music heritage, food, historic estates, craft culture — with enough breathing room between them that nothing feels rushed. You’ll open with a sunset cruise on the Cumberland River and close with a private songwriter session and a final Grand Ole Opry evening. In between: the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Ryman, Cheekwood’s gardens, the Bluebird Café, two distilleries, a private hot chicken experience, and a boot fitting that most guests say becomes a highlight. Every transfer is arranged, every reservation handled, and every day has a clear through-line. By the end, Nashville won’t just be a city you’ve visited — it’ll be a city you understand.

This is a suggested itinerary — we can tailor it based on your group’s interests and pace.

What Our Expert Designer Loves About This Experience?

“I love the five-day Nashville experience because it tells the full story of Music City. It has the iconic venues, the food, the history, the craft culture, and those personal moments, like a boot fitting or songwriter session, that make the trip feel truly one-of-a-kind.”

Five nights. Every chapter of Music City, yours to explore.

Day One – Arrivals and Setting the Tone

Your private car from BNA brings you into a city that’s already working on your imagination. Stay at your choice of the Four Seasons Nashville, The Joseph, or Gaylord Opryland Resort. Then settle in for dinner at Folk or Josephine, two warm neighborhood favorites, with your table already secured.

  • Roundtrip airport transfers via private car (BNA)

Day Two – The Full Music Heritage Day

Take the guided tour at the Country Music Hall of Fame, including RCA Studio B and Hatch Show Print – it transforms the experience. The afternoon calls for a visit to either Ryman Auditorium or the Johnny Cash Museum, both close by. The evening belongs to the Grand Ole Opry, with dinner beforehand at Harper’s or Etch.

  • Country Music Hall of Fame | Guided tour with RCA Studio B
  • Hatch Show Print | Studio tour
  • Ryman Auditorium | VIP tour
  • Johnny Cash Museum | General admission
  • Grand Ole Opry | Tier 1 or Tier 2 tickets

Day Three – Food, Spirits, and Nashville Flavour

Start with a quintessential Nashville Food Tour, then visit a local distillery in the afternoon, for a tasting of the region’s finest spirits. A country line dancing class is a fun way to close a local food day. Dinner at Rolf and Daughters or Peninsula.

  • Private Nashville food tour
  • Nelson’s Green Brier OR Corsair Distillery
  • Private Studio Line Dancing Experience

Day Four – History, Estates, and Wide Open Spaces

Start the day at Belle Meade with a guided mansion experience and a tasting at the estate’s winery. Cheekwood’s acres of gardens and sculpture fill the early afternoon with a slower, more contemplative pace. As the light softens in the late afternoon, take a stroll through Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, where Tennessee’s story unfolds in the shadow of the State Capitol. In the evening, settle into a coveted seat at the Bluebird Café, where we’ve secured your spot for an intimate night of songwriters’ rounds. Before or after the show, dine at The Catbird Seat or Yolan.

  • Belle Meade Historic Site and Winery | Mansion tour + tasting
  • Cheekwood Estate and Gardens | General admission

Day Five – A Last Souvenir and Farewell

Before you fly home, take one last piece of Nashville with you. A private boot fitting at Lucchese or Manuel Couture makes for a truly personal final souvenir, so allow a relaxed morning to find the perfect pair. From there, your private car takes you back to BNA for your flight home.

  • Custom boot fitting at a Nashville bootmaker (Lucchese or Manuel Couture)
