Nashville 5-Day Itinerary: Music, Food, History & Local Culture
Five nights is the right amount of time to actually know Nashville. Available Year Round | Starting from $3,950 per Guest
Five nights is the right amount of time to actually know Nashville. This itinerary covers all the major chapters — music heritage, food, historic estates, craft culture — with enough breathing room between them that nothing feels rushed. You’ll open with a sunset cruise on the Cumberland River and close with a private songwriter session and a final Grand Ole Opry evening. In between: the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Ryman, Cheekwood’s gardens, the Bluebird Café, two distilleries, a private hot chicken experience, and a boot fitting that most guests say becomes a highlight. Every transfer is arranged, every reservation handled, and every day has a clear through-line. By the end, Nashville won’t just be a city you’ve visited — it’ll be a city you understand.
This is a suggested itinerary — we can tailor it based on your group’s interests and pace.
What Our Expert Designer Loves About This Experience?
Five nights. Every chapter of Music City, yours to explore.
Day One – Arrivals and Setting the Tone
Your private car from BNA brings you into a city that’s already working on your imagination. Check in at the Four Seasons Nashville, The Joseph, or Gaylord Opryland Resort, then head out for a sunset cruise on the Cumberland River. Nashville’s skyline from the water is striking and unexpectedly peaceful. Dinner at Folk or Josephine — neighbourhood, warm, and no need for a reservation-day battle.
Experience Highlights
- Roundtrip airport transfers via private car (BNA)
- Sunrise or sunset cruise on the Cumberland River
Day Two – The Full Music Heritage Day
Take the guided tour at the Country Music Hall of Fame — it transforms the experience. RCA Studio B is next, then a short walk to Hatch Show Print. The afternoon is the Ryman’s VIP tour and, close by, the Johnny Cash Museum. The evening belongs to the Grand Ole Opry: Tier 1 or Tier 2 tickets, dinner beforehand at Harper’s or Etch.
Experience Highlights

Day Three – Food, Spirits, and Nashville Flavour
Start with a 12 South food tour, then a private hot chicken experience — Prince’s, Bolton’s, or Hattie B’s, the defining Nashville food story. Two distillery visits in the afternoon: Nelson’s Green Brier has a genuinely interesting heritage; Corsair’s tasting is excellent. A dance class at Stompin’ Grounds is a fun way to close a local food day. Dinner at Rolf and Daughters or Peninsula.
Experience Highlights
- Private Nashville food tour (12 South)
- Private hot chicken experience
- Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery | Tour and tasting
- Corsair Distillery | Tour and tasting

Day Four – History, Estates, and Wide Open Spaces
A full morning at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage, then Belle Meade for the mansion tour and winery tasting. Cheekwood’s acres of gardens and sculpture fill the afternoon with a slower, more contemplative pace. Strings for Hope makes for a thoughtful, meaningful souvenir. The evening is the Bluebird Café — book well ahead. Dinner at The Catbird Seat or Yolan.

Day Five – Personal Nashville: Craft, Song, and Farewell

A private songwriter session in the late morning is the most memorable souvenir of the trip. If not already experienced, the Grand Ole Opry VIP pre-show experience and post-show tour make a perfect farewell to Music City. Dinner at City Winery Nashville or Bourbon Steak, then a private car back to BNA.
