- New Orleans Jazz Museum: The history of jazz told through the instruments, recordings, and stories of the musicians who shaped it. Set inside the Old US Mint.
- Preservation Hall: An iconic New Orleans institution in the French Quarter. Arrive early for the best spot — the space is small and the music is real.
- Mule-drawn carriage ride: A Royal Carriages tour through the Quarter as the light turns golden. A lovely, unhurried way to close the afternoon.
